Our favorite big green ogre comes to the stage at the Alliance Theatre as part of its Family Series in “Shrek the Musical” playing Feb. 22 to March 16.
Formerly on Broadway and based on the 2001 hit film, the show has been condensed to an hour-long fairy tale of Shrek’s mission to rescue the princess Fiona, who has been placed under a curse. And on Saturday, March 8, the Woodruff Arts Center Galleria will be turned into “Shrek-Land” for the Alliance’s annual fundraising event FAMILIES Centerstage.
This family fair includes music, arts, crafts and performances from local cultural groups.
