Slater Nalley, a senior at Atlanta’s The Lovett School, captured national attention on season 22 of “American Idol” with a performance dedicated to his former teacher, Michele Davis.
The teenager wowed judges with his powerful audition and continues to impress while advancing in the high-stakes competition. Known for his humble demeanor, creative spirit and dedication to music, Nalley credits “Idol” with helping him build confidence and fully embrace his passion. With a background in school performances and a strong support system, he quickly became a hometown favorite.
