While it’s too late for this generation to see the King of Pop perform live (may he rest in peace), “MJ the Musical” may be the next best alternative.
Loosely following the story of Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour, the narrative takes audiences behind the scenes as Jackson rehearses with the cast, prepares big numbers and reminisces on his time with musical legends like Barry Gordy and Quincy Jones. Naturally, the musical contains over 25 of MJ’s hits, from “Billie Jean” to “Beat It.”
Presented by Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta, shows run Oct. 24-29; tickets are available here.
