Beat the heat with these sweet treats

Though most of our summer has been in the 90s, thanks to the Georgia humidity it has felt more like triple digits outside. So, it makes perfect sense that July is National Ice Cream Month. Nothing like a chilly, sweet treat to beat the sweltering heat.

If you find yourself along the Atlanta BeltLine, be sure to stop in at Jeni’s, Butter & Cream or Honeysuckle Gelato. While over in Summerhill, you’ll find Big Softie, sure to meet all the needs of soft-serve lovers. And for those in the Brookhaven or Chamblee area, Southern Custard and Frosty Caboose are must-try favorites.
