Modern VR has a basic limitation that stunts immersion. You can move your head and swing your arms, but you can’t walk around.
The VOID cleverly addresses this issue by layering a VR experience over an empty, laser tag-like arena like a digital coat of paint. Pull down your state-of-the-art goggles and blank rooms become galactic battlegrounds; blasé hallways become a haunted Victorian mansion, all fully navigable.
Our “Star Wars” experience was short (<15 minutes), but superbly engaging. The haptic feedback from the blaster shots, temperature changes and rumbling floors made The VOID a brief but delicious taste of VR’s future.
