Each year, the third Monday of January brings the commemoration of Martin Luther King, Jr., born Jan. 15, 1929. And Atlanta is always at the forefront with numerous ways to honor and celebrate the visionary leader and iconic advocate:
• The King Center is hosting a week of festivities, including a service, march and rally.
• Front Runners Atlanta is hosting a MLK Memorial Run tomorrow, Jan. 13.
• The Children’s Museum of Atlanta is hosting various kid-friendly events from Jan. 13–15.
• City Winery Atlanta will offer a MLK Day Brunch Sunday, Jan. 14.
• Dunwoody Parks and Recreation will have a day of service Monday, Jan. 15.
