Time to make Memorial Day weekend plans

Memorial Day weekend in Atlanta is packed with things to do, so if you’re still on the hunt for plans, we’ve got you covered.

The 4th Annual Memorial Day 5K Classic, happening on Memorial Day, pays homage to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. Stone Mountain Park is also honoring the troops and their families at Atlanta’s largest four-day Memorial Weekend event.

Both happening May 27, the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival returns to Westside Park and Zoo Atlanta hosts its adult-only Brew at the Zoo. And, the 38th season of the Georgia Renaissance Festival runs through June 4.
