After time’s been spent with family, all the food has been devoured and all the sales have been hit up in the stores and online, there’s still another important day that’s often overlooked, GivingTuesday.
GivingTuesday is a global movement created in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good. Locally, GAgives serves as the official organizer of GivingTuesday in Georgia, connecting citizens and nonprofits to help raise awareness and funds.
Resources are made available to nonprofits to get the most from their GivingTuesday efforts and the website serves as a great place to find a cause to support.
