City of Atlanta launches e-bike rebate program

by The 100 Companies

The City of Atlanta, in collaboration with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), is gearing up to launch an innovative e-bike rebate program promoting affordable and sustainable transportation options for moderate and low-income residents.

The initiative, beginning in Spring 2024, provides rebates ranging from $500 to $2,000, limited to one per resident. A point-of-sale rebate will be provided, meaning the rebate amount is deducted from the bike’s price when purchased from a participating local bike shop. A receipt will not need to be submitted for reimbursement.

By incentivizing e-bike adoption, the city aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality.
