Green Picks Market, an AI grocery store, has brought its first high-tech supermarket to the metro Atlanta area with a new location in Chamblee.
Founded by Georgia Tech alum Ismael Fernandez, Green Picks Market is a health-focused market featuring a variety of vegan, gluten-free and organic foods.
Green Picks customers are able to shop and leave the store with their items without standing in line to check out, as cameras track their movements and take note of items they pick up or put back before leaving. Customers are then charged through the Green Picks app, which is required to shop.
