Southern Company and Apple recently announced a partnership to launch the Propel Center campus, a new digital learning hub and business incubator headquartered in Atlanta. Each company contributing $25 million to the project.
The new center is designed for students of historically black colleges and universities, serving as the hub for HBCU collaboration across the country. Experts from Apple will help develop curriculum and provide mentorship, while Southern Company will serve as the energy partner and ensure the building is sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Courses will focus on entrepreneurship, agricultural technologies, social justice, app development and much more.
