Target set to raise minimum wage

target minimum wage

Taking care of employees inside and outside of work is important, and one company that understands that is Target.

Beginning July 5, all Target employees will earn at least $15 per hour. According to the company, more than 275,000 workers, including part-time and full-time employees, distribution centers and corporate staff will benefit from the increased wage.

The move achieves, a few months ahead of schedule, a company goal set in 2017 to increase to $15 per hour by December 2020. Target will also provide a one-time $200 bonus to frontline store and distribution center workers for their work throughout the pandemic.
