In a nod to its dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem, Atlanta has been crowned the prime destination for budding businesses in 2024. Home Bay’s prestigious recognition underscores the city’s vibrant startup culture, low operating costs, large talent pool and strong community of Black entrepreneurs.
According to a press release by the City of Atlanta, Home Bay’s study metrics included number of new business applications, venture capital investment and job growth. Over the past five years, Atlanta has held the second-highest number of new business applications, reaching almost double the number for the average U.S. city, and has seen job growth of 2.5%.
