Many get months behind, then are upset when you finally stop work to get the outstanding made whole. I love when they suddenly decide the amazing work wasn’t so amazing, so they can dispute having to pay.
We’ve learned over the years to charge late fees, document phone and email follow-ups, resend invoices, cease work sooner, keep incredible recapping of the work that’s been done, take to collections and, most of all, not to be afraid.
