As of July 13, 2021, the Atlanta Braves were predicted to only have a 0.3% chance of winning the World Series. This week they overcame those odds to claim their first World Series title since 1995.
The Braves ended the final game of the series against the Houston Astros, winning 7-0 with three home runs at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
Atlanta will commemorate the team’s victory with a parade on Friday, Nov. 5 beginning at 12PM. Fans are invited to then join the free post-parade celebration and concert featuring Atlanta artists Big Boi and Ludacris at Truist Park at 4:30PM.
