As communicators, we learned a lot of important lessons in 2020. We’re taking what we learned into 2021 with these resolutions.
- Let go of expectations and focus on rebuilding. What worked in 2019 didn’t work in 2020 and probably won’t work in 2021. Be flexible and try a new strategy.
- Lean into digital content. If digital wasn’t already king, it certainly is now. Increase your budget for digital ad spends, and experiment with new content strategies like Instagram Reels or Facebook Live.
- Continue to adapt and find new ways to create meaningful relationships with stakeholders despite the masks, distancing and virtual landscape.
