Kartheeban Chan manages Team Everest India, a nonprofit promoting volunteering. His passion for volunteering began at an early age, but when he founded Everest, he “became Kartheeban Volunteer 2.0.”

After years of inspiring Indians to serve others, Kartheeban attended last year’s Points of Light’s Conference on Volunteering and Service. He realized there that even though cultures are different, people’s purpose for serving others is the same. According to Kartheeban, the conference showed him the power of bringing the best minds across the globe together to inspire and invigorate. Since the conference, he’s “Kartheeban Volunteer 3.0.” Be inspired; join the conference.

The next Points of Light Conference is in Atlanta June 16-18.
