With everything happening in the world right now, you may have forgotten the end of daylight savings time is upon us. The annual changing of the clocks is this Sunday, Nov. 1. While an hour is gained overnight, most people are not fans of the trade-off – evenings getting dark earlier. There are, however, some ways to help adjust for the change.
• Gradually transition by going to bed and waking earlier in small increments over several days.
• Sleep the same number of hours.
• Maintain existing evening and morning routines.
• If needed, take naps earlier in the day for less than 30 minutes.
