A Walk in the Woods

“Jesus, I smell like Jeffrey Dahmer’s refrigerator,” wrote Bill Bryson in his popular book A Walk in the Woods about his hike along all 2,200 miles of the Appalachian Trail. The film, starring Robert Redford and Nick Nolte, hits theaters September 2.

The Swag, in the Great Smoky Mountains in Waynesville, North Carolina, is offering a Walk in the Woods package that includes accommodations in the 14-room luxury property, all meals, presentations by hikers Joel and Kathy Zachry, a personalized walking stick, a copy of the book and a T-shirt.

Available September 27-October 2; rates start at $495 a night.
