Life’s interesting after loss. I’m officially in the in-between.
If I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it 10 times, “Don’t make major life decisions for a year.” As an entrepreneur, that timeline doesn’t sync when business is moving, deadlines come, contracts wrap, staff leaves, proposals are due, and events occur. Yet, brain and body are nowhere near ready or capable.
Like a badge of honor after death, trauma or illness, we rush back to work sooner than we should – for normalcy, to distract, and mostly because it’s expected. So, when do you really pause, deal and allow yourself to heal?
