I lived in Summerhill three years ago, but walking down Georgia Avenue now, I notice things are vastly different in the once-neglected historic neighborhood.
It has seen some love from the Carter redevelopment, with new housing additions and now some of the city’s hottest new restaurants and drinking establishments.
You can now start the day on a sweet note with pastries from The Little Tart Bakeshop or end it with a treat from Big Softie. For lunch or dinner, pick between Wood’s Chapel BBQ or Junior’s Pizza. Or, beat the heat with a cold drink at Halfway Crooks Beer.
