Do you remember the famous lantern festival from Disney’s “Tangled?” The scene was mesmerizing with hundreds of lanterns lighting up the night. On Saturday, Aug. 14, Atlanta will have its very own lantern parade with a twist. The Parliament of Owls is a black-and-white owl-themed lantern parade featuring owl lanterns, masks, and other owl-like décor.
Everyone is welcome to make a black-and-white owl lantern from any material and walk in the parade! Attire will be black and white, and the parade will begin at 8:30PM at Colony Square Plaza in Midtown Atlanta.
It’ll be a hoot!
