Sunday, March 8 is International Women’s Day, and what better way to celebrate and show support than by attending Community Farmers Markets’ annual Lady Locavores Awards Ceremony, which is dedicated to doing just that.

The awards honor women in Atlanta’s food world, while offering local food and drink samples, with an auction full of local experiences and products.

Award categories include advocate, bartender, chef, farmer and kitchen sink. Chef Jennifer Hill Booker, Liz Lapidus, and Virginia Willis will host the event, which takes place 5-8:30PM at Monday Night Garage. Tickets from $50-250 are available for purchase, and all are welcome.
