Spring in Atlanta is jam-packed with events, but some events stand out because of a charitable element. One such event, 500 Songs for Kids, kicks off April 26 at Vinyl at Center Stage, in Midtown.
Hosted by Songs for Kids Foundation, an Atlanta-based nonprofit providing musical experiences to children with serious illnesses, the event takes place over multiple weekends through the summer.
The concept is simple: hundreds of musicians playing one song each, all for a good cause. The theme for songs this year is “The Song I Wish I Had Written.” Make any contribution amount to attend.
