Theatergoers will feel like they’ve walked into the cheery atmosphere of a Waffle House (the show’s sponsor) when they attend “Waffle Palace Christmas,” the new play at the Horizon Theatre running through Dec. 30. The cast includes some of the same favorites from “Waffle Palace,” based on real-life events at the iconic diner.
Also playing is “Madeline’s Christmas.” Now in its 11th year, the play is based on the popular book about the 12 little girls in two straight lines and also runs through Dec. 30.
The Horizon, one of my favorite theaters, begins its 35th season in January.
