Go ape sh … crazy to support primate conservation efforts at Apes in the Arts, an evening of “apes, artists and aerialists” on Nov. 10. Auction items include original paintings created by great apes.
The evening features aerial silk and lyra hoop performances, games, food, drinks and live painting. All profits go to conservation efforts for endangered bonobos, chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans.
Hosted by Ape Conservation Effort, the event runs 6:30-8:30PM at Inspire Aerial Arts. Advance tickets are $30 and support Orangutan Outreach, which fights habitat deforestation and works to rehabilitate and release orangutans back into the wild.
