Atlanta meets Germany at Spotlight Bauhaus

Germany-based artists collective URBANSCREEN, in partnership with the Goethe-Institut, will give downtown’s Atlanta-Fulton Central Public Library a stunning (though temporary) new look. The building, designed by Bauhaus-movement architect Marcel Breuer, will be the scene for Spotlight Bauhaus on Oct. 5 from 7:30 to 10PM.

The free street festival celebration will include the innovative light show, “Superposition,” projected across the library surface, underscored by driving beats of hip-hop and experimental music from Atlanta’s thriving music scene. Attendees can also enjoy an authentic German beer garden and culinary options from some of Atlanta’s favorite food trucks.
