Gone With the Wind Tour

“He was a lovely man, even if he did have large ears,” our tour guide “Margaret Mitchell” declared about Clark Gable during our Margaret Mitchell’s Gone with the Wind Tour operated by Atlanta Movie Tours.

Margaret, played to perfection with a lovely Southern drawl by Sally Smith, regaled us with stories about her life as we visited The Margaret Mitchell House where she wrote the famous novel, Oakland Cemetery where she is buried and the Central Library, which houses a small collection that includes her Pulitzer Prize.

The three-hour bus tours are offered at 2:00 on Saturdays; tickets are $65.
