Back-to-school can be an exciting time – new clothes and fresh pencils, plus the latest trendy book covers. For many, it often means a shopping spree at the nearest Target.
However, this can be a challenging time, especially during the current period of inflation. To help ease this adversity, organizations around Atlanta are hosting events that provide school supplies and more.
Here are three events to consider:
• Back-to-School Bash at Gwinnett County Fairgrounds: Saturday, July 29 from 11AM-3PM
• Back to School Community Fair: Sunday, July 30 from 1-4PM
• New Unity Missionary Baptist Church School Supplies Giveaway: Saturday, Aug. 5 from 2-4PM
