Since erupting on the Broadway scene in 2015, “Hamilton” has been a smash hit garnering Tony Award after Tony Award. Now, there’s a new wave of fans to the scene thanks to Lin Manuel Miranda and Disney+.
Available to Disney+ subscribers beginning July 3, Miranda released a filmed version of the production featuring the original cast including Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Phillipa Soo and more.
While ticket holders experienced live performance seating, viewers of the filmed version get front row seats featuring close-ups, wide shots and more, as the production was filmed over two live performances plus 13 audience-less numbers.
