Local filmmakers Jon and Brantly Watts with support from the Atlanta Film Festival are hosting another HomeSpun Series Wednesday, October 12th, at the Plaza Theatre.
The series was created by the filmmaking couple after their breakout hit “AKA Blondie,” a documentary on the famous Clermont Lounge entertainer. The well-received film spawned the idea for the HomeSpun series, which features short, character-driven documentaries on Atlanta personalities by local filmmakers.
Having been fortunate enough to have my film SpeakerKiller featured in this series, I feel it does a great job of showcasing unique characters as portrayed by talented local filmmakers.
