Excuse me while I kiss Fox Theatre’s sky on Feb. 27 during the Experience Hendrix tour – a national tour paying homage to the late Jimi Hendrix.
This year’s tour, which stops at 12 cities across the U.S., features blues legend Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix Experience bassist Billy Cox and Jonny Lang.
The tour started in 2004 as a three-time concert series in Seattle, Hendrix’s hometown. Since then, the tour has exploded into a coast-to-coast expedition, bringing together today’s phenomenal musicians and Hendrix fans of all generations to celebrate one of the greatest guitar players who has ever lived.
