Beautifying Buckhead

by admin

Buckhead has some of the finest dining, skyscrapers, shopping and homes in Atlanta. Unfortunately, Buckhead doesn’t have as much green space as other neighborhoods, even though urban parks have repeatedly been proven to improve health, spur economic development and increase community engagement.

Planners are trying to buck this reputation by the creation of PATH400 Greenway Trail, the Charlie Loudermilk Park across from Buckhead Atlanta and City Place, which will add a two-acre park in the heart of Buckhead.

As residential and commercial towers continue to multiply in coming decades, these green spaces will help retain the appealing landscape of Buckhead.
