After traveling to music festivals around the globe from Austria to Miami to New York City, I think I finally found my favorite while standing among the 40,000 attendees on the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama at Hangout Music Festival.
I thought that seeing beloved Atlanta born and bred Outkast would be the highlight of the festival.
Little did I know that my favorite moment would come when I had the chance to meet my favorite band, The Avett Brothers, when they came on our shuttle bus and gave us free VIP upgrade in lieu of our bus breaking down.
