Nonprofit organization Westside Future Fund (WFF) was awarded a $100,000 grant by AT&T to assist in supplying families residing in five historic Atlanta neighborhoods with digital connectivity.
As part of the AT&T Connected Learning initiative, aimed at promoting internet accessibility and affordability to close the digital divide, funds will go to assist families with children participating in WFF’s signature affordable housing program, “Home on the Westside.”
The program provides homeownership opportunities for people with key “live, work and learn” community connections. Families will be provided with digital devices, access to virtual learning and training focused on computer and technology skills.
