Black woman-owned TV/film production studio coming to Atlanta

by The 100 Companies

Cinema South Studios, a multi-million dollar production studio, is coming to Atlanta; with Tammy Williams, a 25-year veteran in the TV and film industry, its majority owner.

Having written and produced many projects, including films, biographies, documentaries and news programs, Williams will now be the first Black woman to own a production studio of this size in Atlanta.

Cinema South Studios is planned to include eleven soundstages, a back-lot, prop house, wardrobe rental facility and lighting grip rental house. The production facility will also include a transportation company and an office building to house a theater and post-production facilities, the AJC reports.
