When the members of Oklahoma’s SAE fraternity decided to chant a disgustingly racist song on the bus to a formal event, they likely didn’t realize how many lives they were about to affect.
Their fraternity is now, justifiably, shut down and many of those ignorant members in question are facing expulsion.
But one life that will be unjustly changed is Howard Dixon’s, the African-American man whose 10-year tenure as SAE’s cook will likely come to an end. After a former SAE realized that, he started a crowdfunding campaign with a goal of $50,000 to ensure Howard lands on his feet.
