Zunzi’s is hosting a contest to design and paint a mural on the exterior of its flagship West Midtown location. The winner will receive $5,000 plus supplies to paint the mural.
Mural designs should illustrate the artist’s interpretation of ubuntu, the South African concept often translated as “I am because we are” or “humanity towards others,” and incorporate Zunzi’s rainbow umbrella and a specified quote.
Design entries can be submitted to ubuntu@zunzis.com until 12PM on Aug. 15. Zunzi’s management will narrow down the top three submissions, then allow Instagram and Facebook followers to vote on the winner from Aug. 19-26.
