The Atlanta Beltline has completed and opened the final segments of its full 2.5-mile Southeast Trail, marking a major step toward closing key gaps in the city’s expanding multi-use trail network.
The new sections extend the corridor through four Southside neighborhoods, improving direct connections between Grant Park, Ormewood Park, Boulevard Heights and Glenwood Park. Once fully integrated, the trail will enhance safer pedestrian and bicycle access to parks, schools and surrounding destinations while strengthening links to existing Beltline paths.
Officials say the completed segments represent continued progress toward a fully connected 22-mile loop that will unify Atlanta’s popular trail system.
