Allergy season is, unfortunately, still upon us

by The 100 Companies

Are allergies making you miserable? You’re not alone. In fact, Atlanta has been ranked among the top cities for ragweed pollen in fall 2026.

With El Niño bringing warmer, wetter weather to the Southeast, allergy season may well continue through late October. While rain may temporarily wash away pollen, it also delays the first frost.

To help mitigate pollen in your own yard, experts suggest continuing to mow regularly through the fall season, before ragweed has the opportunity to flower. Be sure to remove all debris and brush as well, as ragweed tends to thrive along garden edges and fence lines.
