CHaRMed, I’m Sure

by admin

Old paint, tires, batteries, mattresses and electronics. How to dispose of them in an environmentally friendly way? Take them to The Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM), Atlanta’s first permanent facility for hard to recycle materials opening April 18, 2015.

The hope for this facility is that it will encourage sustainability around Atlanta. CHaRM will also hold educational sessions to discuss the importance of recycling the bulky materials they accept.

Items like shoes, books, sports equipment, musical equipment and bikes will also be accepted for reuse and distributed to local nonprofits working with children of other groups in need.
