The City in a Forest stays true to its name when the Atlanta Dogwood Festival arrives in Piedmont Park April 13-15.
Now in its 82nd year, the three-day festival celebrates spring in the city with hundreds of artists, interactive games, rides, giveaways and a kids village. Festivalgoers will enjoy food from local vendors and live music, with Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Shawn Mullins headlining the main stage.
The festival is open to the public at no charge, though there are several ticketed events throughout the weekend. No outside food or beverages are allowed, and pets should stay home.
