Former environmental advocate Peter Bahouth built the three-part treehouse 18 years ago, then started renting it about three years ago. The income supports his work as an artist.
“I get a lot of joy from seeing people out here and seeing them enjoy themselves,” he said. “People really love it when they can go to a place like this. It’s a simple response to a crazy and complicated world.”
