From wheelchair-accessible trails to those with signs in Braille, Georgia has plenty of outdoor areas for those with disabilities.
The Gwinnett Environmental Heritage Center has the interactive Whispering Woods Braille Trail fully accessible to the vision impaired. The ADA-compliant Oldcastle Nature Trail at the Marcus Autism Center is a wooded trail with a meditation center, amphitheater and wildlife viewing platforms.
Georgia has dozens of wheelchair-accessible trails, from .5 miles to 90 miles long. Get a great view of the waterfalls from West Ridge Falls Access Trail at Amicalola State Park and stay overnight in ADA-compliant accommodations.
