Good morning, Atlanta. How was your drive in today? If you live OTP and work ITP like I do, it was probably a nightmare.
When the state legislature approved the $1 billion transportation bill two weeks ago, part of me was hopeful that some of that money would go toward a fancy new interchange or improving public transportation. No such luck. The money will go toward admittedly essential road and bridge maintenance.
The takeaway: not even a billion dollars can fix 285. So hang in there, OTPers, and just keep driving. Or as it’s known in Atlanta: slowly inching forward.
