Giving new meaning to the phrase, “a whale of a good time,” the American Museum of Natural History in New York City is hosting its first adults-only sleepover Aug. 1.
Previously the Night at the Museum sleepover program was strictly kids-only, but now adults can curl up under the 94-foot-long blue whale after an evening that includes a champagne reception, three-course dinner, live music, a flashlight tour through the museum, live animal demonstrations, behind-the-scenes access and a midnight viewing of the Dark Universe Space Show.
The daring can even visit Spiders Alive! for up-close encounters with tarantulas and scorpions. $375.
