By now, you’ve likely heard of the wildfires raging through the Amazon rainforest. While there’s no way to physically stop the fires, there are small steps we can take here at home that will certainly have a long-lasting impact.
• Reduce paper and wood consumption, or purchase rainforest-safe products through the Rainforest Alliance.
• Limit beef consumption, as rainforest beef is typically found in fast food items or processed beef products.
• Donate to rainforest conservation efforts through Rainforest Trust.
• Assist Amazon Watch in protecting indigenous populations in the rainforest.
• Help the Worldwide Wildlife Fund protect animals living in the jungle.
