My previous favorite 7-seater, the Mazda CX-9, was nearly perfect, but lacked cargo space and acceleration. With a 0-60 time of 6.2 seconds and nearly 100 cubic feet of space, the Traverse doesn’t make these concessions.
Nor does it concede in the looks department. The smoked-out wheels of the RS and Redline trims accentuate the overall aggressive, handsome design, giving the Traverse the appearance of a Camaro on stilts.
Throw in a luxurious interior with agreeable ergonomics, WiFi, an excellent infotainment system, and above average handling, you have an SUV with few, if any, faults.
