Your weekend trips to Lake Oconee and Greensboro, Georgia, just got better. This Saturday, Oconee Brewing Company is hosting its grand opening. For those planning on drinking, tickets are $15 for a tour, 36 ounces of OBC beer and a souvenir pint glass. Food trucks will also be on site.
University of Georgia graduate Taylor Lamm gave new life to a historic cotton warehouse when he decided to launch OBC. Despite Georgia’s notoriously strict beer laws, Lamm wanted to open a brewery in his home state with dreams of being “in the middle of everywhere” to attract Georgia beer enthusiasts.
