Celebrating 50 years of connecting Georgians with nature, the Chattahoochee Nature Center is marking its milestone anniversary with a summer-long series of family-friendly events.
The festivities peak June 24-28 with a week of special programming, including an official 50th birthday celebration featuring archery, canoeing, campfires and outdoor activities, followed by a free community celebration on June 28. Throughout the summer, visitors can also enjoy guided Family Canoe Days along the Chattahoochee River, including special outings for both Father’s Day and Independence Day.
Founded in 1976, the Roswell nonprofit continues its mission of environmental education, conservation and wildlife rehabilitation for all ages.
